New Game Incoming/Bug found

I will use this post to discuss two different things so...
1. There is a glitch in LITPC(Lost in the Paris etc.) where in "total darkness" the HP does not go down on the randomizer number of 0. For context in LITCP I use a lot of dnd inspiration from my own session where I function as the Dungeon Master. I used the D100 from the wand of wonder and actually use it for the game and randomize the number each room. So for example room 0 is auto lose 5 HP(in programming all numbers start with 0) and 1-7 are the enemy rooms and so on and so forth.
In "total darkness"(this happens when a wind blows the candle or lantern or when the source of light runs out) the rooms become a d10 and there are now rooms that push the players back and rooms with no-choice enemy encounters. 0 was supposed to be much like the 0 in the regular rooms but no damage is being done for some reason, I think it's because the room is changing before the HP line can be action-ed but I don't really know. Moving the lines of code that execute this to the steps events worked with the regular rooms but it doesn't work here. What I do know is that I probably won't change this because I'm too busy with other projects and this project was more of a demo for programming, a lot of the menu stuff is transferring over to my other games in the works. Also this specific game uses AI(text and images)and recently I've been put off by how people intend to use it and just the general vibe I get with it.
EDIT: OHHHHHH ITS NOT IN THE STEP EVENT LMAO
So like, I never liked AI, especially in commercial use but I could see its use case in speeding up processes such as quick NPC dialogue or reference images but seeing big companies which CAN AND HAVE THE MONEY to pay for assets use it in soulless SLOP ads is really depressing. The general vibe from that "tech bro" side of the internet is just really pathetic, which if you didn't know these companies and tech bros also did endorse and use crypto and NFCs and shilled them when they came out. It really makes me change my tune, per say, on my own use of it. I didn't really admit it in the game description but I also used AI for the text of the game which is honestly really obvious. In my defense I heavily edited like all of them because gpt is a slop spewer so I felt like I didn't have to state it. (I'm going to go back and change it in a bit) All this to say that I really want to put this game behind me and kinda of strive to not use it again. I haven't been called out on it or nothing so this isn't an apology nor do I have any fans to disappoint in the first place so really this is just for me.
TLDR There is a bug in LITPC but I don't want to work on that project anymore as it having connections to AI makes me loathe it. Also vow to never use it again.
P.S dialogue is so much better and art is so satisfying when you do it yourself anyways. For example take this excerpt from one of the games I am working on and compare it to the text in LITPC.

I have seen the earth blossom and fade.
I stood as the rulers of this world left without a trace.
I saw the faces of the angels who weep and jinns who cried.
To them, I was a pest.
To you, I am the DIVINE.

2. Look out for a February/March release of a new game I'm developing, too early for screenshots but I will do some in the upcoming weeks. I have the code but like it doesn't look good at all. I code horrible nonsense like yandere dev ahh if/else statements but I'm only slightly better at it because I know what a switch statement is!(I never use the switch statement.) Unlike the last one this is going to be an actual game and not shovelware, I hope.

Thanks for reading my devlog. Hope to continue posting these.
